Traveler’s Choice Tasmania 3-Piece Luggage Set Review
I gifted my wife Traveler's Choice Tasmania Luggage Set in 2011 for her birthday. We had a trip coming up then and I wanted her to take a new set for her trip. To our amazement, it is 5 years now and the set is as good as new.
Totally surprised! I wanted to write a Traveler's Choice Tasmania 3-Piece Luggage Set Review to tell the world how happy it is to have found a luggage set that lasts so long!
We have had several trip with this luggage set. We traveled to Hawaii, Brazil, California and often to New York. This is an absolute delightful luggage set. I got one for myself too.
Features of the Traveler's Choice Tasmania 3-Piece Luggage Set
The best of the luggage set are its:
I had this funny incident happen in the place I stayed in my recent New York trip. The guy at the reception was quite friendly and he was chit chatting. He said "It looks good, but beware, these hard cases tend to break easily," I said, "Oh! Did you think it was new?!
Thanks. This is my fifth year with the luggage set." He was baffled. He never spoke another word of advice again to me. It was so funny. It is a very reliable luggage set. It has held up so beautifully all through the trips. I never had a trip when I just went through the airport floor and smooth surfaces alone. Very durable.
My luggage set still looks like new after all these years of using them. The texture easily hides the small scratches that I had on some trips. You never know what your luggage goes through at the luggage check-in. Some handlers seem very rough, I have seen some suitcases tossed right in front of the passengers.
Thankfully, there are no issues with the beautiful look on the suitcase set. The nameplate gave off and I had contacted the customer service on Traveler's Choice. They sent me a replacement badge. Very happy with the service. When there is no badge, it does look very ugly, but for the life of the luggage set, it really doesn't matter. I do not really care.
On my last trip, the worst path was rolling my luggage my luggage from the Times Square in New York. The sidewalks are bumpy and cracked. Very rough too. They held well. Back in the airport, I was thinking the wheels would break. They rolled as usual. Elated with the luggage set. The wheels are ultra smooth and move around easily.
The wheels take away all the pressure from your hands. I have felt tired of walking around the long airports, but never my hands grew tired of pushing the Traveler's Choice Tasmania luggage set. You also have a belt extension that helps you to drag multiple suitcases along. I have pulled it in different ways. Sometimes I am very temperamental and pull it on two wheels, they work fine however you pull them.
The zippers still work fine. I have had so many luggage sets earlier and I had problems with the zippers. Usually, the zippers are the first to give away. The zippers in the Traveler's Choice Tasmania luggage set to move up and down the zip lines smoothly. I use the TSA locks too. Makes me feel so safe. The TSA locks have a key lock attached to it. I was wondering why I did not get the keys.
I later learned that they were for the TSA officials to open up my luggage if they ever had a doubt. I'm happy to have no more broken locks on my luggage. They are perfect. It goes through airport security easily and I never had any of my baggage delayed due to security checks.
You get a great discount on the luggage set unlike other places on Amazon. I got about 60% discount that saved me more that on the Traveler's choice Tasmania Three-piece Luggage set. I would recommend you to check the Amazon website before you buy this set as I am very confident that the price on Amazon is comparatively lower than any other merchant website.
I have felt that the cheaper selling price might mean that the luggage was damaged. I was very wrong about the Traveler's choice set. I suggest seeing the price difference from other places before you buy it.
Very spacious luggage set. I love the compartments in the suitcase. My wife likes the carry-on size better than the other two as it is very convenient for her. Some short flights charge a lot for checked-in luggage and we prefer to take only our carry-on suitcase on those trips. The 14-inch small luggage is perfect for the carry-on.
There is a mesh pouch inside that is perfect to carry shoes or jackets as they do not disturb your clothes arranged in the suitcase. I would say that the biggest suitcase will carry one month's worth clothes in it. I prefer to keep my personal items on the small carry-on.
- TSA approved locks.

- Adjustable height on the telescopic handles. Suits all heights.
- Spacious set. There are many compartments to have everything arranged.
